Folding Delta

Guyot Delta
First equipment to practice Kite Aerial Photography is a carrying kite: a high performance camera cradle will give poor results if used with an unstable or bad sized kite. During our 14 years of KAP practice, we tried kites listed bellow:
  • Conyne
  • 2 meter Delta
  • Wasseige
  • Coddy
  • "LENOIR" Box
  • Home made Parafoil kite and GREENS KITES Stratoscoop
  • Delta 4 meter
  • Rokkaku

  • Parafoils and LENOIR box kites proved to have uncertain stability.
A 5 meters width Wasseige has been our favorite carrying kite for a long time: good traction, and reliable performance in various wind speed.
We currently use either the 4 meter folding Delta, or a 2,25m x 1,75m rokkaku made by the German company ELLIOT.

    GUYOT Delta

This light Delta is built with carbon frame. A 15 to 20 centimeter string is tied between horizontal and vertical ribs to restrict the clearance under strong wind conditions.
